THE SHORT-SCALE SIRE BASS GUITAR

A passive short-scale bass for beginners and experienced players looking for extra playing comfort. It produces a warm, rounded, and a more articulate sound from the P & J pickup configuration preferred by Marcus Miller. It comes with custom shop features like the rolled fretboard edges and added fun mint finished variant.


SIRE SHORT-SCALE BASS

Contemporary bass shape made of North America Alder known to express fine-tuned quality build and sound in an instrument; topped with solid flamed Maple for luxurious finish. Its neck is made from 5-piece wood (Maple/ Mahogany) complementing highly tensioned 6 strings paired with Rosewood fingerboard.

LIGHTWEIGHT BASS

Compared to normal scaled basses, the Sire U5 is suited for players who don't want a weighty gear.

MARCUS MILLER SUPER-PJ REVOLUTION PICKUP

A special combination of Marcus-signature humbucker and single coil pickups allowing precise expressions of both the clear bass and jazz bass tones.



U5 CONTROL LAYOUT


1. Master Tone

Adjusts the overall brightness of the instrument. Turn one direction for a warmer, darker tone, or the opposite direction for a brighter, clearer tone.

2. Bridge Pickup Volume

Controls the output level of the bridge pickup. Turn up to increase volume, or turn fully down to mute the bridge pickup.

3. Neck Pickup Volume

Controls the output level of the neck pickup. Turn up to increase volume, or turn fully down to mute the neck pickup.

Basic Use

For a balanced sound, turn both pickup volume knobs fully up. Increase the bridge pickup for a brighter, tighter tone, or increase the neck pickup for a warmer, fuller tone. Use the Master Tone to fine-tune the overall brightness.
