U7 is the full-scale version of our acclaimed short-scale bass, U5. Featuring a lightweight streamlined body and introducing closed pickups and a new preamp, it encompasses elements that the younger generation would appreciate. LIGHTWEIGHT BASS

A normal scaled bass body made of slim carved Alder producing its lightweight feature that is not only suited for younger generations but also for traveling musicians.

MARCUS MILLER SUPER-PJ REVOLUTION PICKUP

A special combination of Marcus-signature humbucker and single coil pickups allowing precise expressions of both the clear bass and jazz bass tones.

MARCUS HERITAGE-2/2-BAND EQ

Composed of a 2-band EQ along with volume and balance controls allowing players to have complete tonal control, producing sound suited to their taste.



U7 CONTROL LAYOUT


1. Volume

Controls the overall output level. Turn toward Open to increase volume, or toward Close to decrease it. Fully Close mutes the instrument.

2. Pickup Balancer

Blends the neck and bridge pickups. The center position uses both pickups equally. Turn toward Neck for more neck pickup signal, or toward Bridge for more bridge pickup signal.

3. Bass

Active Mode only. Boosts or cuts the bass range. The center position is the basic setting.

4. Treble

Active Mode only. Boosts or cuts the treble range. The center position is the basic setting.

5. Active / Passive Switch

Selects active or passive operation. Use Active mode for onboard EQ control, or Passive mode for a simpler, more natural tone.

Basic Use

For a balanced sound, keep the Pickup Balancer, Bass, and Treble near the center position. Turn toward Bridge and raise Treble for a brighter, tighter tone. Turn toward Neck and raise Bass for a warmer, fuller tone.
